Enhancements 

Warehouse

  • New settings in Evolution allow a Technician user type to be set up with assigned warehouses to be used in Softbase Service. When warehouses are assigned in Evolution, from Parts Inquiry the Technician will be able to search for and select parts only in these warehouses.

    • Existing Technician user types will be assigned all Warehouses until changes are made to the user record.

    • New Technicians will be created without any assigned warehouses.

  • In Evolution a single warehouse can be set as the default warehouse. This default will be set on the Settings page in Softbase Service upon Login.

    • If no default is selected the list of Warehouses to select from in the Settings page will be limited to the warehouses assigned to the user in Evolution.

    • If the default is set, technician type user’s will not be able to change the selected warehouse in the service app.

Settings

  • A user will no longer be required to select a warehouse at login. If no warehouse is selected or defaulted the parts tab on the Work Order page will be disabled appearing in red text and be unselectable:




Unit Group Box

  • If the Serial Number on an order in Dispatch exists on an Open Work Order in Evolution, either on the Rental tab or as the GM Serial # on the Misc tab, and that order has a Rental Contract Number then the Contract information will be visible in the Unit Group Box in Softbase Service.

Event Log

  • Refactored Event Log Upload Trigger to kickoff from heartbeat process PubSub message to break circular dependency

  • Added Event Log Upload Trigger from heartbeat lockup handling
