In order for an image to open from the document center when selected, you must have a compatible default app specified. This will apply to .pdf files as well as image files such as .png, .jpg, etc.
In order to open that file type (example .jpeg, etc) you can check to see what program is defaulted to be used by checking the settings for default apps in your computer.
You must choose a compatible app to open that file type as the default in order for Softbase to successfully load and open the image file.
You can use a browser such as Microsoft Edge, Windows media player, etc.
For example, on my system, I set the default app to use Microsoft Edge for .jpg files.
When I access a work order with a .jpg file type and double click on it, the image will then open in Microsoft Edge.
If you do not see an available or acceptable program in the list to choose from, you can also set the default program using the file explorer on the desktop.
Save that file type to your PC so that you have an image file to use to set the default program (this example is a .png file).
Open File Explorer and locate that image file in the file path.
Right click on the image and choose to Open With, then Choose Another App
Expand "Other options" and choose the program, then elect to Always use this app to open that file type.
This will set the browser in the your settings to be the default app for that file type. You would want to repeat this for each file type that you utilize.
