Hi Softbase support.

Currently, whenever the quote team converts an older quote to an order that a warehouse cleanup has been done in the warehouse it was going to pull from or b/o to it continues to let them open the order and doesn’t let them know that parts on the order are not set up so we order anything that came up to order

but we don’t know that all of the parts were not ordered until someone looks at the quote to compare to what came in on the order and then we find out that parts had been deleted prior to the order being converted.

It creates a huge mess.

 

Could you please add this validation? when an old quote with more than 60 days is converted to an order and the parts on the order are not set up then Softbase or Evolution app must not allow to open the order, and it should notify what parts need to be configured.

At this way, the parts department has to be re-set up the part# in the warehouse and then posted in to come out correct.
